After teaching a lesson, it is important to take time to reflect on how the lesson went. During your reflection time, focus on what aspects of the lesson did not go well and need to be changed and determining what parts of the lesson were successful. There are several different ways to reflect your observation. Some of them are journaling, observations from administration, conversations with your students, and conversations with other teachers. As a new teacher, it is important to have a mentor teacher who can give you feedback on your teaching and help develop your pedagogy. Mentors can also help you to develop your reflection skills. As the years go by, reflecting on your teaching and the lesson will become habit and just part of your teaching process. This will help your teaching to improve.
